Welcome to Nettleton Lodge Shooting Ground
Nettleton Lodge Shooting Ground is run by Ben Jacob who took over the running from his uncle (also Ben), in 2004. Ben now runs the Shoot with his brother Will.
Although only a small Shooting Ground, there are 14 stands giving targets to test all abilities. The Ground is aligned to ‘Sporting’ targets rather than to specific disciplines and operates on a practice only basis.
Nettleton Lodge Shooting Ground is not a ‘club’ – it works on a ‘pay and shoot’ basis using mostly Bowman automatic traps and a Morris electronics target monitoring system.
Instruction and Opening Times
Ben and his team are able to offer advice and help to all customers especially newcomers to the sport and ‘Young Shots’, during normal opening hours. Ben holds an exemption permit which allows unlicensed newcomers to shoot at Nettleton Lodge Shooting Ground under supervision. Ben is also able to offer one to one lessons by appointment.
Sundays 9.30 – 12.30

Charitable Events
An annual competition is held in June when a clay shoot forms part of a fund raising day with proceeds donated to the Air Ambulance and Local Lives Groups. The competition event also includes a cross country run (multi-terrain dash) and a working dog test (dog and gun).
Nettleton Lodge Shooting Ground is also the home ground of Lincoln Level Shots,a charitable group who raise funds for worthy local causes through clay shooting and other activities. For a diary of Lincoln Level Shot events - click here.
